    Marcus Junius Brutus (; Latin pronunciation:[ˈmaːrkʊsjuːniʊsˈbruːtʊs]; c.

    85 BC – 23 October 42 BC) was a Roman politician, orator, and the most famous of the assassins of Julius Caesar.
