Indonesian conductor and composer Budi Susanto Yohanes has been declared The Best Conductor in the 2011 Rimini International Choral Competition, Italy – a recent addition to his achievements in conducting career.
He debuted as the conductor of Gracioso Sonora Choir, a choir he founded in 1999. Since then Budi has been successfully conducting and art-directing numerous performances, and acquired prestigious awards from Germany, Spain, Italy, South Korea, and home-country Indonesia.
