Pre-Inspection for Registered Child Development Home
- You must have a non-pay, working telephone
- Emergency numbers are posted for police, fire, ambulance, and poison control
- Electrical wiring is maintained, outlets are safely capped or tamper resistant and cord are properly used
- Combustible materials are kept away from furnaces, stoves, gas dryers, or water heaters by a minimum of 3 feet.
- Safety barriers are available at stairways and doors, as appropriate
